About Me
Hi, thanks for dropping by!
Linda Avanesian is a Writer/Actress/Artist born on December 18th, 1972 in Tehran-Iran. She was born in Armenian family of art and handcrafts. Linda was fully loved by both parents (George and Araks) and family. She has a Younger sister (Elda) and a younger brother (Arka). Linda was a very curious and thoughtful child and only once needed to be told or warned about anything; her mother always told her. However, she only had a chance to enjoy her healthy childhood for three years, but the juvenile rheumatoid arthritis couldn't stop her from her goals and dreams. The disease may have stopped her running with the other children, but it never stopped her thinking. It may have stopped her getting involved in plays with children, but it never stopped her getting along with them. Her physical disability taught her how to sit in a corner and just look deeply into the surrounding and learn. Her disability closed many doors in her life, but it taught her how to be patient.
Linda never stopped dreaming and she always played different stories while she was alone by herself. Her physical disability stopped her attending school with children at her age, but her mother taught her three languages of Armenian, English and Farsi at home. Linda's both parents constantly encouraged her in different kinds of arts especially drawing because they noticed her drawings are very complete and different than other children in her age. When she was 11, she always wished to go to school and have a few classmates as her friends. Shortly after, her wish came true and in age 14, she attended school for the first time and passed fourth grade. Linda graduated twelve years of a school in seven years by studying constantly.
During her school years, Linda took second place in drawing and poetry in school districts. After graduating the high school, Linda joined the disabled communities and had many art shows in different art centers and presidential office and Congress yard of Tehran. Linda's parents were so surprised and proud when they saw how far she could go with her success. She always loved to teach some drawing to her sister and brother. Her mother Always told her that she is going to have many miracles in her life. Linda lost her mother shortly after she graduated from her high school, and she experienced a bitter truth of emptiness for the rest of her life. The empty space of her mother was a very heavy burden on her shoulders since she was physically fully dependent on her mother. There was one main truth in her life that Linda has always been gifted with wonderful friends and classmates who never left her alone in her best and worst moments of life. Shortly after her mother’s death, Linda started receiving phone calls from different magazines and newspapers which started their interviews about her paintings and seashell handcrafts. She started having bigger shows where she sold many of her handcrafts that made her work harder.

Shortly after, she met a half physically disabled young man (Jeorjik Khachadoorian), who asked her to marry him.Marriage was an unbelievable truth in Linda's life because she had never dreamed of it. Linda and her husband traveled to Austria for the final destination to the United States of America, heedless from many more miracles ahead. Six months living in Vienna passed very quick. Even though entire country was very strange to Linda, she had very loving family and friends who had been living in Vienna for many years and they helped them to get through the time easier and to make the difficulties tolerable.

Finally, the life in the United States started end of May 2021. Linda believed that she was going to study two different degrees and graduate from two different universities, so she could be very useful for the society and of course build their new life and future from the base.
Due to Linda's husband's health complications and a couple of unpredictable and surprising life happenings, all of her dreams totally disappeared from her thoughts. For 11 years, Linda tried to survive different obstacles and accidents that were thrown by life. For a while, she couldn't focus on anything but to not let her life fall apart. In December 2010, Linda finally attended acting classes just like a dream come true. She took five years of acting classes at For Actors By Actors. Linda was enjoying her acting classes and believing that is where she felt herself 100% real. She attended many auditions and a very effective play performance with her classmates, written by one of her classmate friends, starring her. The result of five years constant effort in acting/writing/business classes was signing a contract with Mavericks Talent Agency and more than thirty auditions. Starting to work with Mavericks agency was a dream come true for Linda because she could imagine anyone in the class except herself to sign a contract.
After attending many auditions and not getting picked by any of casting directors, she saw that no matter how hard she tries, her disability is going to be on her way. Linda as always didn't get disappointed and saw that the road is taking her to the writing path. For Actors By Actors used to have a creative artists gathering, called ‘ Creative Mashup’ where Linda met a very kind gentleman (Kenneth Rotcop), who used to be one of the co-writers in HB Company. When Ken found out about Linda’s real story script, he really encouraged her to continue to the end because he thought it is going to be the bright star of her success. Linda‘s real film script story finished in four years when she hired one of her actor friends/classmates. Ken offered a price to edit Linda’s story and she accepted the offer. The result of their friendship was the courage that she received from him and continued writing. Lindaknows that writing is what she really loves because she has a great imagination where she could fit any little details. She has a few short film scripts and feature films scripts written in drama, action and Christmas genres.
